SKOPJE (North Macedonia), September 25 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said that it has repurchased 105 of its own shares for an undisclosed sum.
Following the transaction, Makpetrol owns 8,573 own shares, equivalent to a 7.63% stake in the company, the fuel retailer said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Makpetrol shares traded at an average price of 72,489.81 denars ($1,294/1,178 euro) on Wednesday on the stock exchange in Skopje.
In June, Makpetrol launched a share buyback programme targeting up to 10% of the company's capital.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
