May 14 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Thursday that it is proposing to pay a gross dividend of 2,000 denars ($35.2/32.6 euro) per share for 2019.
Under the proposal, the company will distribute a total of 202.76 million denars as dividend for last year, Makpetrol said in a bourse filing.
Makpetrol paid a gross dividend of 1,300 denars per share for 2018.
The company's shareholders will vote on the proposal at a general meeting scheduled to take place on June 20.
On Thursday, Makpetrol shares traded at an average price of 68,977.93 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchangeл
The company's net profit rose by 12.8% to 878.15 million denars in 2019.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred filling stations across North Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
