March 12 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said that its net profit rose by 12.8% on the year to 878.15 million denars ($16.08 million/14.32 million euro) in 2019.
Total operating revenues amounted to 22.75 billion denars, up 4% year-on-year, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Domestic sales grew by 2.9% to 21.21 billion denars, while sales abroad increased by 15% to 1.25 billion denars.
Makpetrol's operating expenses rose by 3.9% to 21.85 billion denars.
The company's shares traded at an average price of 72,500 denars on Wednesday, down from 72,565.64 on Tuesday on the stock exchange in Skopje. They did not trade by 1220 local time on Thursday.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred filling stations across North Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
