March 14 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Thursday that its non-consolidated net profit soared to 778.1 million denars ($14.3 million/12.7 million euro) in 2018 from 301.8 million denars the year before.
The company's operating revenue grew 17% to 21.87 billion denars last year, Makpetrol said in an unaudited financial statement.
Domestic market sales rose 16% to 20.62 billion denars, while sales abroad jumped 33% to 1.08 billion denars.
Operating expenses added 14% to 21.03 billion denars in 2018, as cost of goods sold increased 15% to 18.90 billion denars.
Makpetrol shares were 2.01% up at 52,799.5 denars in early trade on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on Thursday.
