August 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Tuesday that it has repurchased 200 of its own shares for an undisclosed sum.
Following the transaction, Makpetrol owns 8,468 own shares, equivalent to a 7.54% stake in the company, the fuel retailer said in a bourse filing.
Makpetrol shares last traded on the stock exchange in Skopje at a price of 63,000 denars ($1,142/1,022 euro).
In June, Makpetrol launched a share buyback programme targeting up to 10% of the company's capital.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
