November 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said that it has repurchased 520 of its own shares for an undisclosed sum.
Following the transaction, Makpetrol owns 10,284 own shares, equivalent to an 9.15% stake in the company, the fuel retailer said in a bourse filing on Monday.
Makpetrol shares traded at an average price of 72,824.45 denars ($1,311/1,183 euro) on Wednesday on the stock exchange in Skopje.
In June, Makpetrol launched a share buyback programme targeting up to 10% of the company's capital.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
