July 27 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's forwarding company Makosped [MSE:MKSD] said that its net profit rose to 196.1 million denars ($3.23 million /3.19 million euro) in the first half of 2022, compared with 7.8 million denars in the like period of 2021.
Operating revenue rose to 235.5 million denars in the period under review, compared with 39.2 million denars in the first half of 2021, the company said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Domestic sales fell 3% to 36.3 million denars, whereas sales abroad slumped 94% to 85,000 denars.
Makosped's operating expenses totalled 41.8 million denars in January-June 2022, up 24% on an annual comparison basis.
Makosped, established in 1946, offers transportation and warehousing services.
