November 2 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's forwarding company Makosped [MSE:MKSD] said its net profit increased 32% on the year to 12.1 million denars ($227,600/196,400 euro) in the first nine months of the year, mainly due to lower expenses.
Total operating costs amounted to 55.2 million denars in the period under review, down 42% on the year, Makosped said in an interim financial statement last week.
Operating revenues decreased by 38% year-on-year to 63 million denars in the nine months through September.
Revenues from domestic sales fell 27% to 59 million denars, while sales abroad plunged 78% to 3.6 million denars.
Makosped, established in 1946, offers transportation and warehousing services.
