May 5 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makedonski Telekom [MSE:TEL] said that its net profit fell 22% year-on-year to 359 million denars ($6.2 million/5.8 million euro) in the first three months of 2022.
Makedonski Telekom's operating revenue edged up 3% on the year to 2.8 billion denars, while operating costs rose 10% to 2.4 billion denars in the quarter under review, the telecommunications company said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse earlier this week.
Domestic sales increased by an annual 3% to 2.7 billion denars, while sales abroad added 21% to 99.3 million denars in the January-March period.
Makedonski Telekom's shares traded at an average price of 380 denars on Wednesday on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), according to the latest available bourse data.
