August 3 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makedonski Telekom [MSE:TEL] said that its net profit decreased by an annual 12% to 776.4 million denars ($12.8 million/12.6 million euro) in the first half of 2022.
Makedonski Telekom's operating revenue increased by 9% year-on-year to 5.9 billion denars in the first six months of 2022, the telecommunications company said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse earlier this week.
Domestic sales increased by 9% to 5.7 billion denars in the first half of the year, while sales abroad went down 5% to 190.5 million denars.
The company's operating expenses totalled 5 million denars in the January-June period, up 14% on an annual comparison basis.
