November 3 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makedonski Telekom [MSE:TEL] said that its net profit fell 17% year-on-year in the nine months through September, to 1.3 billion denars ($20.3 million/20.8 million euro).
Total operating revenues grew 6% on the year to 8.9 billion denars in the period under review, the company said in an interim financial statement earlier this week.
Domestic sales were 6% higher on an annual comparison basis, reaching 8.5 billion denars in the January-September period, while sales from abroad fell 15% to 338.9 million denars.
Operating costs inched up 11% on the year to 7.4 billion denars in the first nine months of 2022.
Makedonski Telekom's shares last traded on the MSE on Wednesday, at an average price of 350 denars, according to the most recent bourse data available.
