August 3 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's hotel and catering services company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] said it closed the first half of 2022 with a net profit of 27 million denars ($445,251/437,331 euro), compared to a net loss of 21.9 million denars in the same period of last year.
The company's operating revenues jumped to 96.4 million denars in the six months through June, from 32.5 million denars in the like period of 2021, whereas operating expenses grew 66% to 111.2 million denars, Makedonijaturist said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse last week.
The company posted an operating loss of 14.8 million denars in the review period, compared to an operating loss of 34.5 million denars in the first six months of 2021.
Makedonijaturist's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on July 29 at an average price of 4,600 denars.
