August 10 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's hotel and catering services company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] said it closed the first half of 2020 with a net loss of 12.6 million denars ($240,976/204,889 euro), compared to a net profit of 59.9 million denars in the same period of last year.
The company's operating revenues plunged 72% year-on-year to 40.7 million denars in the January-June period, whereas operating expenses fell by 25% to 91.2 million denars, Makedonijaturist said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse last week.
It posted an operating loss of 50.6 million denars in the review period, compared to an operating profit of 23.2 million denars in the first six months of 2019.
Makedonijaturist's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on July 30 at an average price of 4,400 denars.
