March 5 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's hotel and catering services company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] said it closed 2020 with a net loss of 35.4 million denars ($690,000/578,700 euro), compared to a net profit of 106.1 million denars booked a year earlier.
The company's operating revenues plunged 76% year-on-year to 77.4 million denars in 2020, Makedonijaturist said in an annual financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse earlier this week.
Total operating expenses fell by 37% to 164.5 million denars last year, as costs for materials decreased by 64% to 21.2 million denars.
The company posted an operating loss of 87.1 million denars in the review period, compared to an operating profit of 60.3 million denars in 2019.
Makedonijaturist's shares last traded on the bourse in Skopje on March 3 at an average price of 4,550 denars.
