November 11 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based hotel and catering services company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] said that its net profit rose by an annual 4% to 86.5 million denars ($1.6 million/1.4 million euro) in the first nine months of the year.
The rise in net profit was mostly due to a 42% jump in financial revenue, to 42 million denars, figures from Makedonijaturist's interim financial statement showed.
The company's operating profit dropped 26% year-on-year to 45.9 million denars in the January-September period of 2019.
Operating revenue fell 6% to 234.2 million denars in the review period, while operating expenses remained flattish at 188.3 million denars.
