October 29 (SeeNews) - Liberty [MSE:RZLV], the North Macedonia-based unit of UK industrial and metals company Liberty House Group, said that it boosted its net profit to 795.6 million denars ($15 million/12.9 million euro) in the first nine months of 2021, after booking a profit of 6.9 million denars in the same period of 2020.
The company's operating revenues increased 59% year-on-year to 7.5 billion denars in the January-September period, while its operating costs rose 65% to 7.3 billion denars, it said in an interim financial statement.
Domestic sales gained 36% on the year to 1.2 billion denars, while sales abroad added 67% to 6.4 billion denars in the nine months under review.
Liberty produces cold-rolled coils and sheets, galvanized and pre-painted coils, mainly for the general industry segment on the regional market. Liberty House Group acquired the Skopje-based company from Luxembourg-based steel producer ArcelorMittal in July 2019.
