September 27 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's lenders Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] and Stopanska Banka Bitola [MSE:SBT] said they are exploring the option to merge.
The banks will conduct in-depth analyses for a potential merger after adopting their respective financial statements for 2023 at their shareholders' meetings in 2024, the two lenders said in identical notices filed with the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on Tuesday.

Komercijalna Banka's shares traded at an average price of 12,440 denars ($213.5/202.11 euro) on Tuesday, latest available bourse data showed.
Stopanska Banka Bitola's shares last traded at an average price of 2,400 denars on the Skopje bourse on September 22.
