January 28 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] said it expects to achieve gross profit before taxation of 2.35 billion denars ($42.6 million/38.3 million euro) in 2022, some 6.2% lower compared with 2021.
Net interest income is seen rising about 6% year-on-year to 2.5 billion denars in 2022, with expected growth of loans and deposits and stable interest rates, the bank said in a filing with the Skopje bourse on Thursday.
Other income is expected to fall by 4.6%, primarily due to a reduction in planned capital gains from the sale of foreclosed property.
The bank expects its net assets to increase 3.1% year-on-year in 2022, reaching 153.1 billion denars.
The lender also said that some of its objectives in 2022 are increasing capital value and market share, maximizing profit and digitalization of operations in all segments.
Komercijalna Banka booked a net profit of 2.3 billion denars in 2021, up 20% year-on-year, the lender said in a separate statement on Thursday.
