July 15 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at North Macedonia’s international airports in the capital Skopje and the lakeside resort of Ohrid rose 11.8% on the year to 1.163 million in the first half of 2019, Aeroports de Paris (ADP) said.
ADP owns 46.12% of Turkey’s TAV Airports, the company operating the airports in Skopje and Ohrid.
In June alone, North Macedonia’s international airports handled 248,908 passengers, up 14.3% on the year, ADP said in a statement on Friday.
In the past 12 months, Skopje and Ohrid airports saw a 11.6% rise in passenger numbers to almost 2.5 million.
