SKOPJE (North Macedonia), October 15 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's industrial sales decreased by 1.8% year-on-year in August, the state statistical office said on Tuesday.
Industrial sales abroad fell by an annual 0.5%, while domestic sales dropped by 6.6%, Makstat said in a statement.
Sales of durable consumer goods went down the most, by 8.1%, followed by sales of capital goods with a 7.8% annual decrease.
Sales of mining and quarrying goods fell by an annual 7.5%.
On a monthly comparison basis, North Macedonia's industrial sales decreased by 14.1% in August.
