June 30 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's gross foreign debt totalled 9.977 billion euro ($10.4 billion) at the end of March, up 1.7% year-on-year, the central bank said on Thursday.
Gross foreign debt at the end of the first quarter was equivalent to 74.9% the gross domestic product (GDP) projected for 2022, the central bank said in a statement.
Compared with the previous three-month period, North Macedonia's gross foreign debt was up 4.5% at the end of March.
The country's net foreign debt totalled 4.06 billion euro at the end of March, up 23.5% on an annual comparison basis.
