March 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] said that it has signed four road rehabilitation contracts with North Macedonia's Public Enterprise for State Roads worth a total of 543.5 million denars ($10 million/8.8 million euro).
The largest deal, worth 212.8 million denars, envisages the rehabilitation of the Probistip-Krupishte road section, Granit said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Works under the deal must be completed within 550 days.
The company also signed contracts for the rehabilitation of sections of state roads A2 and A3, worth 159.1 million denars and 102.9 million denars, respectively. The deadline for completing works is 458 days and 244 days, respectively.
The last deal concerns the rehabilitation of the Kumanovo-Nikustak road section. Works on the 68.7 million denars contract must be carried out within 244 days.
Skopje-based Granit was established in 1952 and privatised in 1996. Its main activities include construction and rehabilitation of roads. The company owns several concrete and asphalt plants and stone quarries.
