March 25 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] said that its non-consolidated net profit rose 22.8% year-on-year in 2019, reaching 191.32 million denars ($3.35 million/3.09 million euro).
Granit's operating revenue surged 35.9% to 5.34 billion denars , the company said in an annual financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse on Tuesday.
Domestic sales rose 45.9% to 4.98 billion denars, while sales abroad plunged 90.5% to 11.92 million denars.
The company's operating expenses increased by 35.7% to 5.21 billion denars, as expenses for hired services rose 75% to 2.38 billion denars.
Skopje-based Granit was established in 1952 and privatised in 1996. Its main activities include construction and rehabilitation of roads. The company owns several concrete and asphalt plants and stone quarries.
