August 3 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] said on Wednesday that its net profit totalled 65.1 million denars ($1.08 million/1.06 million euro) in the first half of 2022, down 17% compared with the same period of last year.
Total operating revenue fell 8% year-on-year to 1.9 billion denars in the January-June period, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the stock exchange in Skopje.
Total operating expenses decreased by an annual 4% to 1.86 billion denars in the first six months of the year, as expenses for services dropped to 745.4 million denars from 873.2 million denars.
Skopje-based Granit was established in 1952 and privatised in 1996. Its main activities include construction and rehabilitation of roads. The company owns several concrete and asphalt plants and stone quarries.
