SKOPJE (North Macedonia), March 8 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's economy grew by an estimated 3.7% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2018, after expanding by 3.0% in the previous quarter, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The country's gross domestic product totalled 179.6 billion denars ($3.3 billion/2.9 billion euro) at current prices in the fourth quarter, the statistical office said in a statement.
Exports of goods and services rose by 23.0% in nominal terms in the review period, while imports grew by 21.5%.
Household final consumption grew by an estimated 6.3% in the fourth quarter.
