SKOPJE (North Macedonia), December 6 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's economy expanded by an estimated 3.6% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2019, after growing by 3.1% in the previous quarter, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Gross domestic product totalled 175 billion denars ($3.1 billion/2.8 billion euro) at current prices in the July-September period, Makstat said in a statement.
Exports of goods and services rose by 8.4% year-on-year in nominal terms in the review period, while imports grew by 10.9%.
Household final consumption grew by an estimated 4.6% in the third quarter.
