July 13 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's soft drinks producer Fruktal Mak [MSE:KONZ] said on Tuesday it closed the first half of 2021 with a net profit of 16.8 million denars ($322,900/273,500 euro), compared to a 4.9 million denars net loss a year earlier.
The company's operating revenue rose by 17.6% on the year to 233.2 million denars in the January-June period, Fruktal Mak said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse.
Domestic sales increased by 7.5% on the year to 112.5 million denars in the first half of 2021, whereas sales abroad were up 29.2% year-on-year, reaching 117 million denars.
Operating expenses decreased by 4.3% year-on-year to 200.5 million denars in the first six months of 2021. Cost of materials totalled 132.3 million denars in the review period, up 6.9% on an annual comparison basis.
