August 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based soft drink producer Fruktal Mak [MSE:KONZ] said that its net profit nearly doubled to 12.6 million denars ($228,000/204,000 euro) in the first half of 2019 from 6.4 million denars in the same period of 2018.
Fruktal Mak's operating revenue grew 15% year-on-year to 194.1 million denars in the January-June period of 2019, the company said in an interim financial statement.
Domestic sales added 17% to 103.9 million denars, while sales abroad were 16% higher at 90.0 million denars.
Total operating expenses increased 23% to 184.8 million denars. Expenses for materials rose 13% to 113.9 million denars, while expenses for hired services soared 71% to 19.8 million denars.
Fruktal Mak's assets amounted to 571.4 million denars at the end of June, up by 1% year-on-year.
