May 5 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's forwarding company Fersped [MSE:FERS] said that its net profit plunged to 2.9 million denars ($49,800/47,200 euro) in the first three months of 2022, compared with a net profit of 18.8 million denars in the like period of last year.
Fersped's operating revenue rose by an annual 13% to 1.1 billion denars in the January-March period, while operating expenses grew 15% to 1.09 billion denars, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse earlier this week.
Total financial revenue fell 35% on the year to 114,000 denars in January-March, while financial expenses soared to 926,000 denars from 201,000 denars in the first three months of 2021.
Fersped's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on April 19, at an average price of 57,000 denars.
