July 25 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's steel products manufacturer Fakom [MSE:FAKM] increased its non-consolidated net profit to 175,000 denars ($2,904/2,836euro) in the first half of the year, from 119,000 denars booked in the like period of 2021, it said on Monday.
Total operating revenue came in at 650.1 million denars in the January-June period, up 43% on the year, Fakom said in an interim financial statement filed with the stock exchange in Skopje on Monday.
Fakom's first-half domestic sales decreased to 98 million denars, from 143.8 million denars in the first six months of last year. Export sales rose to 544.4 million denars, from 304.1 million denars in the first half of 2021.
Total operating expenses rose by an annual 44% to 645.4 million denars in the first six months of the year.
Fakom specialises in the production of hot rolled steel sheets, hot rolled profiles, tubular profiles, galvanized and plastic-coated sheet metals and others.
