November 2 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based confectionery producer Evropa [MSE:EVRO] said that its net profit decreased 25% year-on-year in the nine months through September, to 38.5 million denars ($618,103/624,665 euro).
The company saw its operating revenues grow 3% on the year to 614.3 million denars, while operating costs increased 5% to 573.3 million denars, Evropa said in an interim financial statement on Monday.
Revenues from domestic sales totalled 261.8 million denars in the period under review, slightly lower than 262.1 million denars a year earlier.
Evropa produces chocolates, wafers and candy. The company has 12 confectionery stores across the country.
