March 5 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based confectionery producer Evropa [MSE:EVRO] said that its net profit rose 10.4% to 80.8 million denars ($1.6 million/1.3 million euro) in 2020.
Evropa's operating revenue increased 4.2% to 814.4 million denars in 2020, the company said in an annual financial statement earlier this week.
Domestic sales increased by 6.4% to 356.4 million denars, while sales abroad rose by 1.3% to 444.9 million denars.
The company's operating expenses rose by an annual 6.3% to 743.3 million denars in 2020, as expenses for materials increased by 9% to 401.6 million denars.
Evropa produces chocolates, wafers and candy. The company has 12 confectionery stores across the country.
Evropa's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on December 29 at an average price of 3,301 denars.
