August 3 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Centralna Kooperativna Banka [MSE:CKB] said that its net profit jumped to 17.8 million denars ($293,777/288,713 euro) in the first half of 2022, from 739,000 denars profit reported for the same period a year earlier.
Net interest income came in at 136.6 million denars in the period under review, down from 139.6 million denars in January-June 2021, whereas net fee and commission income rose to 53.3 million denars from 45.8 million denars, the bank said in a bourse filing last week.
The bank's assets decreased to 11.1 billion denars at the end of June, from 11.4 billion denars at the end of 2021.
Loans and advances to customers other than banks rose to 7.4 billion denars at the end of June from 7.3 billion denars at the end of last year, while deposits from customers other than banks fell to 9.4 billion denars from 9.7 billion denars.
