February 24 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Centralna Kooperativna Banka [MSE:CKB] said on Friday it made a net profit of 38.1 million denars ($653,909/618,619 euro) in 2022, up 37.7% compared with 2021, mostly due to higher income.
Net interest income edged up 1.7% on the year to 283.9 million denars in 2022, whereas net fee and commission income grew 16.7% to 106.5 million denars, the bank said in an annual financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse.
The bank's assets decreased to 11.17 billion denars at the end of 2022, from 11.4 billion denars a year earlier.
Loans and advances to customers other than banks amounted to 7.4 billion denars last year, compared with 7.3 billion denars in 2021, while deposits from customers other than banks decreased to 9.4 billion denars from 9.7 billion denars.
The bank's shares last traded on January 5 on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), at an average price of 450 denars, bourse data showed.
