SKOPJE (North Macedonia), November 8 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based building materials producer Cementarnica Usje [MSE:USJE] said that its consolidated net profit rose by an annual 21% to 939.8 million denars ($16.8 million/15.3 million euro) in the January-September period of 2019.

Cementarnica Usje's operating revenue increased 7% to 3.58 billion denars in the first nine months of the year, the company said in an interim financial statement.

Domestic sales added 5% to 2.26 billion denars, while sales abroad were 10% higher at 1.20 billion denars.

Operating expenses edged up 2% to 2.54 billion denars, as expenses for materials rose 3% to 1.18 billion denars.

Cementarnica Usje is a unit of Greek-based cement producer TITAN, which owns cement plants in nine countries and employs more than 5,500 people worldwide.
