March 6 (SeeNews) - Macedonian building materials producer Cementarnica Usje [MSE:USJE] said on Wednesday that its non-consolidated net profit fell by an annual 4% to 1 billion denars ($18.4 million/16.3 million euro) in 2018.
Cementarnica Usje's total operating revenue edged up to 4.59 billion denars last year from 4.58 billion denars in 2017, the company said in an unaudited financial statement.
Domestic market sales rose 3% to 2.9 billion denars, while sales abroad fell 3% to 1.5 billion denars.
The company's operating expenses added 4% to 3.47 billion denars, mainly due to a 6% rise in expenses for materials, which amounted to 1.58 billion denars last year.
Cementarnica Usje is a unit of Greek-based cement producer TITAN, which owns cement plants in nine countries and employs more than 5,500 people worldwide.
