August 10 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's central bank said it sold 7.105 billion denars ($117.8 million/114.9 million euro) worth of 35-day central bank (CB) bills at an auction on Wednesday, below its target.
The interest rate on the securities, which equals the central bank's monetary policy rate, was set at 2.50%, the central bank said in notice.
The central bank said earlier on Wednesday it decided to keep the key policy rate unchanged at 2.50% after four consecutive hikes this year.
