January 20 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's central bank said it sold 10 billion denars ($184.2 million/162.4 million euro) worth of 27-day central bank (CB) bills at an auction on Thursday, in line with its target.
The interest rate on the securities, which equals the central bank's monetary policy rate, was set at 1.25%, the central bank said in notice.
The central bank said earlier on Thursday it decided to hold its policy rate unchanged at 1.25%, after lowering it from 1.50% in March 2021.
