October 13 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's central bank said it sold 10 billion denars ($187.1 million/161.8 million euro) worth of 28-day central bank (CB) bills at an auction on Wednesday, in line with its target.
The interest rate on the securities, which equals the central bank's monetary policy rate, was set at 1.25%, the central bank said in notice.
The central bank said earlier on Wednesday it decided to hold its policy rate unchanged at 1.25%, after lowering it from 1.50% in March.
