SKOPJE (North Macedonia), February 18 (SeeNews) – The business confidence indicator in North Macedonia's manufacturing sector added 2.5 percentage points year-on-year to 22.6 in January, the country's statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the business confidence index in manufacturing edged up 0.4 percentage points in January, Makstat said on Monday in a press release on the results of a survey conducted among local managers.
“The situation with the current volume of production orders in January 2020 is more favourable compared to the previous month, the expectations for the production volume for the next three months are also more favourable, while the stocks of finished goods have remained unchanged," the statistical office said.
The managers who participated in the survey expect the number of employees in the manufacturing sector to increase in the following months.
