SKOPJE (North Macedonia), December 10 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in October rose 12% year-on-year to 308, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in October decreased by 36% to 3.8 billion denars ($67.0 million/60.6 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In October, 151 permits were issued for new buildings, 43 for civil engineering projects, and 114 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits, 180 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 562 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 50,294 sq m.
