May 12 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia increased by 11.3% year-on-year to 415 in March, the statistical office said on Friday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in March went up 21.9% on the year to 5.6 billion denars ($99.2 million/91 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
Of the total number of permits, 220 were for new buildings, 108 were for civil engineering projects and 87 were for reconstruction projects.
Of the total, 229 permits were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 478 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 53,346 sq m.
