SKOPJE (North Macedonia), July 8 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in May remained unchanged on the year to 222, the state statistical office said on Monday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in May increased by an annual 13% to 4 billion denars ($72.1 million/64.2 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In May, 135 permits were issued for new buildings, 37 for civil engineering projects, and 50 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits, 136 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 463 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 39,499 sq m.
