September 13 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia decreased by 33.6% year-on-year to 280 in July, the statistical office said on Wednesday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in July went down 33.2% on the year to 4.1 billion denars ($71.5 million/66.6 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
Of the total number of permits, 134 were for new buildings, 89 were for civil engineering projects and 57 were for reconstruction projects.
Of the total, 280 permits were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 218 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 25,615 sq m.
