SKOPJE (North Macedonia), April 12 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in February fell 13.6% year-on-year to 153, the state statistical office said on Monday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by building permits issued in February decreased by an annual 49.1% to 1.2 billion denars ($21.5 million/19.1 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In February, 81 permits were issued for new buildings, 26 for civil engineering projects, and 46 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits, 83 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 123 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 13,404 sq m.
