September 13 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in July decreased by 5.4% year-on-year to 422, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in July decreased 37.6% on the year to 6.2 billion denars ($102 million/100 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
Of the total number of permits issued in July, 250 were for new buildings, 46 for civil engineering projects and 126 for reconstruction projects.
Of the total, 267 permits were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 907 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 81 059 sq m.
