SKOPJE (North Macedonia), January 16 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in November fell 17% year-on-year to 243, the statistical office said on Thursday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in November decreased by 16% to 2.5 billion denars ($44.3 million/39.7 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In November, 145 permits were issued for new buildings, 28 for civil engineering projects, and 70 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits, 160 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 786 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 54,775 sq m.
