May 16 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian construction company Beton Stip [MSE:BEST] said that its non-consolidated net loss narrowed to 14.5 million denars ($264,000/235,000 euro) in the first quarter of 2019 from 25.2 million denars in the comparable period of last year.
The company's non-consolidated revenue plunged 87% year-on-year to 5.5 million denars in the January-March period, Beton Stip said in an interim financial statement on Wednesday.
Operating expenses dropped 72% on the year to 17.2 million denars in the review period.
Financial expenses fell 52% year-on-year to 2.8 million denars in January-March. The company did not book financial revenue.
Beton Stip, based in eastern Macedonia, was part of Beton Skopje [MSE:BESK] until 1995.
