March 18 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian construction company Beton Skopje [MSE:BESK] said that its net profit fell 6% on the year to 30.9 million denars ($570,000/503,000 euro) in 2018.
The company's total operating revenue rose 6% to 2.24 billion denars last year, Beton Skopje said in an unaufited financial statement.
Operating expenses increased 5% to 2.10 billion denars, as expenses for materials grew 40% to 623 million denars.
Financial revenue plunged 74% to 18.4 million denars, while financial expenses rose 14% to 61.9 million denars.
Beton Skopje, founded in 1947, designs and builds houses, roads, bridges, tunnels, hydro systems and factories.
