November 3 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based construction company Beton Skopje [MSE:BESK] reported a net loss of 212 million denars ($3.4 million/3.5 million euro) in the first nine months of 2022, compared to a net loss of 295.3 million denars in the same period last year.
Total operating revenue was down 43% on the year to 397.2 million denars in the January-September period, while operating expenses fell 38% to 582.9 million denars, Beton said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse earlier this week.
Sales revenue, all generated on the domestic market, fell to 220.9 million denars in the period under review, from 698.1 million denars in the like period last year.
The company's shares last traded on the MSE on September 14, at an average price of 1,500 denars, according to the most recent bourse data available.
Beton Skopje, founded in 1947, designs and builds houses, roads, bridges, tunnels, hydro systems and industrial plants.
